My username (M'use name?) on Diaryland is a bit obscure. It's a reference to Andre Malraux, who I actually know very little about -- apparently he was an ardent French Communist. Since I myself am neither a Communist nor French, there would seem little point in me adopting his name...

There's always been one quote of his that's stuck with me, though... "All art is a revolt against man's fate." I thought that sentiment was the perfect one to base this diary off of (as is somewhat evident in my last posting).
